CMTNL Quarterly Communication Newsletter Sept 2023
Hello everyone!
September is in full swing and pumpkin spice has bombarded coffee shops and bakeries across the province. The CMTNL has been busy preparing for this weekend’s upcoming AGM on Sunday, September 24th, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. If you are choosing to attend in person, we will see you onsite at The Emera Innovation Exchange (Signal Hill campus) at 100 Signal Hill Road, St. John’s. Those members who RSVP’d for the virtual route, the online link will be sent via email by Friday, September 22nd.
In our goal to increase transparency through education and communication, the CMTNL is proud to announce the launch of our first Quarterly Communication Newsletter. [insert audience applause here, lol]. Each quarter, the CMTNL will release a Communications Newsletter geared towards:
Educating the public about the Registered Massage Therapy profession
Informing the RMT membership about upcoming events
Reminding RMTs (and the public) about aspects of Regulation and/or Standards of Practice that RMT’s are mandated to abide by.
In this first September Quarterly Communication, you’ll find information about the CMTNL as a regulatory board, find out how RMT Member fees are used in Regulatory Governance, and learn what to expect within a typical Registered Massage Therapy Treatment.
